Spay/Neuter Assistance Program - Providing financial assistance for spay & neuter surgeries. Assistance amounts vary depending on funding available. This assistance is available to everyone, regardless of income, however low-income families may be eligible for larger financial assistance.

This program is made possible through a partnership with the Nome Animal House who host an itinerant veterinarian every other month, and who provide their services at a discounted rate.

- Spay/Neuter Program - Funds will be reserved from the general Spay/Neuter Assistance Fund each year to be able to fund spay/neuter surgeries for 5 rescue pets.
- Emergencies - Funds will be reserved from the general Emergency Medical Pet Fund each year to be able to fund 5 emergencies for rescue pets.

About Tigaraha Pet Resources
Our Mission
Tigaraha Pet Resources is organized to identify financial and educational needs in our community as they pertain to domestic animals, and acquire funds to support programs that meet those needs, while maintaining focus on a long term goal to have permanent local veterinary care available full-time and consistently in the region.
Our Members
We are a group of pet lovers who have come together to meet the needs of domestic animals, and fill the gaps in veterinary care to ensure that everyone, no matter their financial status, can get their pet the medical attention they need.
Our Name
Mount Tigaraha, meaning "point" in Inupiaq, juts out through the middle of the Kigluak Mountain Range. It is usually too steep and rugged for snow and ice to cling to, creating a black silhouette of points against the snowy white background of Mt Osborn and the rest of the Kigs. Mt Tigaraha reminds us of the beauty and awe hidden in some of the most rugged places on earth.
